This is going to be a blog about everyday life. Not about anything specific. Just how to survive different situations that tend to happen to alot of people. From dealing with annoying friends or coworkers, to successfully eat a banana without squishing the top (theres a trick to it.) This is a positive blog. Used to make people happy and to learn something new. Not to criticize and destroy. I hope that it helps make a difference for somebody. Whether its just for my own personal benefit, or anybody who wants to read.
So, starting off strong. How to successfully get along with other people while you are in a car for hours on end. This may include road trips, carpools, or a hectic madrigal season. ( I have been in all.)
The key here is to not complain. Try to understand where everybody is coming from. If you are really stressed out about the others, start thinking positively about every one of them. Think of compliments. No matter how hard it may be, it will help you calm down, and the ride will be much smoother. Nobody wants to deal with the complainer in the group, and nobody ever wants to be the one to stop them. So DONT COMPLAIN. Its really not a big deal, and you will get out of that vehicle eventually. Try listening to music that you enjoy, or small talk that will not bring up an argument. Get along with the backseat drivers. If they are starting to bug you, calmly but firmly ask them something to keep them distracted from the road. Hopefully they will reply in a positive answer so you don't get into an argument. Last but not least. If you really cannot handle those around you, text other friends or family, look out the window and play the ABC game, take a nap, or just keep focused on driving if you are the driver. It is totally easy, and totally duable. I promise. :)
